She looked over the desk again and saw three venors coming down the stairs about 140 meters aways from them.

"You see that door over there, thats our way out of here" she said and pointed with her head to a big metall door.

Brian noded, "But how are we gonna get there without being noticed by those venors?" 

"We aren't going to sneak by them, we are killing them" 

She looked back at Brian with a serious face

"You got a problem with that!" 

Brian stayed silent. 

"Look, if we don't kill them, they will kill other people sooner or later" 

She was getting irritated, it was like she really hated these creatures. 

The venors was getting closer. Sam turned around facing the desk, loaded the rifle.

"Get ready Brian, this is gonna get messy" 

Brian pulled out the sword and was ready as he could be.

In a quick move Sam stod up, aiming for the first venor, a big thundering sound echoed through the lobby.

The two other venors rushed over and spotted Sam and started to head for her. 

She shot again, hit in the second venors left frontleg, it tilted over and stopped moving. The third jumped over it and kept going for Sam, she reloaded but the empty shell was stuck in the slider. 

She tried frantically to get it out, begin to panick as the venor got closer, she looked up,. 

The venor was only a meter away from her face, she closed her eyes and was prepared for the end when, 

she heard a stabbing sound and a moan from the venor. It was Brian, Brian had assulted the venor from the side, hitting it in its throat and into the wall. Brian hold tight onto the swords handle and looked terrified on the venor as the blood started to drip alongside the wall. He started to breath fast and irregularly. 

Sam looked up and saw what Brian had done.

"Hey, thanks" she leaned back on her hands on the cold floor, breathing out in relief.

"Close call huh" Sam said with a smile on her face, leaning her head at Brian.

Brian started to shake, letting go of the handle and fell down on the floor infront of Sam. 

He couldn't stop looking at the dead venor that was stuck in the wall and bleeding going down all over the floor. 

Sam leaned forward and put her hands on her knees.

"Hey, thank you Brian, you saved me" 

Brian looked at his hands, there was a little blood on them from the venor, he close them, shaked a little more and looked at Sam.

"N-no problem S-Sam" 

His eyes were a little wet.
