I look at my phone, I was the last one to send a message.

Was it something I said? something I did?

How can I know, we have never even met.

I ask from time to time when we used to talk

But you were busy, tired or something in between

 

You, like many others, just stop responding 

Like an atom in a black hole, like i never existed

I sit here alone, looking at my dark screen.
waiting for a notification from you.
something, anything, hoping for you to take the first step one day.
is it me? my selfrespect is eating me alive, slowly consuming me in doubt and darkness.
was my last just a fluke? 8 years of lies and deceptions? maybe.
i was happy, skeptical but happy. someone was out there, maybe for me? a friend? a lover?
I am getting old, i dont know how this works anymore, my view is twisted and wrong.
I am looking at my dark screen, waiting for a message from you.
my darkest fears are consuming me, telling me this is my reality, my life.
Like dried leaves in the wind, spent, trash for nature, rotting down in the soil.
waiting to stop existing in this world, unnoticed by everyone.
I sit in darkness, hoping you would light my world.

Friends are People we rely on from time to time. They help us in when we need them. But The is Friends Who are what They say They are, True Friends.

A True Friend would recognize you in a crowded place, a True Friend help you With whatever you need help With no matter what.

A True Friend care for you, want to be There for you. 

A Friend is just a emotionless person Who don't care for you, don't listen to you because They don't gain anything from you.

A Friend don't know you and don't want to know you because it is waste of their time. 

For me, i only have a handfull of True Friends.

My so called Friends never see me, They never say hi on The Street unless i say it first! They never ask me If Im doing okay!

For them, i am just a useless shade in The massive darkness. 

“I,,,,, I don’t have it…..? Brian answered

“The scientists injected it in me when I was in coma”

Rowin looks serious at Brian. “This, this complicates things”
Rowin turned against the cliff, glancing at the sunrise.

Brian looked over at Sam to see what she was doing. She looked at Rowin and she looked troubled about something. Brian didn’t know what to expect from them both.

“Alright!” Rowin said and clapped his hand together. “Brian, you’re coming with us”

“What? Why?

Rowin stepped close to Brian and looks deep into his eyes.

“Because now, you’re a part of this war, either if you like it or not”

Rowin quickly turned at Sam. He was dead serious

“Sam! Get ready, we’re moving out”

“Yes Sir!” Rowin passed Sam and continued in the woods, she looked at Brian

“Are you ready?” She asked with a smooth voice.

“Ready for what? He asked back nonchalantly and put the sword in its scabbard.

“To fight for your life, as I said. You’re a soldier now Brian.”

Brian looked emotionless at Sam as she turned and walked into the woods. The sun was coming up, Brian could feel the warmth from it, and he turned and watched the sunrise without saying anything. Just taking in the beautiful view, for what could be the last thing he saw from his normal life.     

Brian can hear how the water is hitting against the cliff, splashing almost all the way to where he is laying. Brian looks at Sam, who’s sitting on the log, He get up and walk over to the cliff and stare out at the full-moon and the sparkling stars in the night. Sam watches Brian and walks towards him, standing by his side, gently grabs his arm and leans at his shoulder. Brian looks surprised at Sam but doesn’t break the silence and look back at the moon and the beautiful view.

“Thank you” Sam whispers and looks at Brian.

“Huh, for what?” Brian looks back at Sam.

“F-for showing me my hearts true form, I can’t thank you enough” He turn towards her and see that her eyes is getting wet. The water splashes against the rock and making it blow and Sam hair grabs the wind, making her look gorgeous. Brian stutter, not able to say anything, he’s just looking at her beautiful face and blushes a little and look away. Sam gently places her hand on his cheek and turns his face so his eyes meet with hers. She smiles at him, kissing him.

The waves hit the cliff again, making a loud noise. Brian slowly holds Sam in his arms, kissing her back softly. Sam embraces in his arms and put her hands on his chest.

“This moment can’t be any better” Brian thinks to himself.

Machinae Supremecy- Player one

Sam doesn't say anything, she is just looking at the big dark sword in Brians hand. 

Brian doesn't know what to believe, that he has this power or that he's changed this much. 

He feel that the sword is fading, it turns into streaming energy again and go back in Sams chest and disappears, the white light fades away and the moonlight lights up the night sky again. 

Sam falls sitting down on the old log again, catching her breath, Brian fals on the ground infront of her with an open mouth, trying to figure out what just happened. 

Sam holds hen right hand over her chest and looks up at the glowing moon. 

She smiles a little, not one of those creepy smiles that Brian have seen in the facility. 

It almost looked, peacefully. Brian looks at his right hand, it was warm, almost like it was burning. He lifts it up into the air, trying to cool it down. The sweet breeze feels nice on his fingers, Brian falls down on his back and gazes upon the glowing stars and sighet lightly. 

"What did I just do?" He askes lightly. 

"That, that was the power of the void" Sam replies with a smooth voice. 

Brian got exhausted from all the action and fightging during the day, he could almost fall asleep on the ground right away. The soft chilling grass, the soft wind through the trees.

It was a peacefull place they found. 

Sam stabbed towards Brian, making him fall down on the ground. Brian started to crawl backwards to try to avoid Sams blade. She walked sowly towards him with the sword in a steady grip in her left hand. 

Brian hit a tree with his back, he couldn't get away now, Sam raised her swrod to make a swing at Brian. 

Brian panicked, he felt something sturde with his right hand. He didn't care what it was, he grabbed it and tried to block her sword. It was a piece of log, almost as the same lenght as Sams sword. 
"Hmph!" Sam muttered.

Brian quickly stood up, holding the log with both hands with fear in his eyes. 

"Do you really want a duel against me boy?" She have that creepy smile on her face again. 

Brian didn't like that smile of hers. It could only mean one thing, that she don't care what happens next. 

"I just want to survive" 

"Well then." She said with a low voice. "Let's se if you have what it takes to survive!" 

Sam rushed at Brian, swinging the sword at his side. 

Brian tried to block and manage barely, but Sam was at him almost immediately, now agains his left shoulder. 

He hit away the sword to parray but she countered with a heavy tackle in his chest. Brian fell down on his back, loosing his breath for a second and his sight got blury. When his sight got back to normal, Sam was already pointing her sword at his throat with only inches away. Brian felt the cold sweat falling down his forehead. 

"Clearly, you haven't what it takes to survive" 

Brian panicked once again and gripped the log even harder. 

Sam raised her sword over her right shoulder to swing for his throat when brian quickly stood up and tackle her down on the ground, holding her left hand, the sword fell off her hand. 

"Do it!" She screamed and looked at Brian. Brian raised hi right hand in the air. 

He start to feel something in his hand, warmth. Brian feel somekind of emotion, in his hand. 

He slowly looks in his hand and se how its glowing with a white shimmer.

Sam starts moaning and her chest starts to litt up in a white shimmer aswell. Brian slowly put his hand on her chest, he fell how his hand is sinking into her chest, Brian starts to feel emotions again but it's different. Pain, sorrow, guilt. He can't tell for sure, he feel something hard in his hand, Brian grabs it, trying to pull it out.

It feels like it's stuck in something, Brian pull harder, he feels how it's slowly goes off. He uses all of his force and finally drag it out. Brian feel a how a white light hits him in the face and he now se what he is holding onto. 

It's a sword, but it look so different from the one Sam has. It's longer and is black, he looks down on Sam who is looking at the sword in Brians hand. 

Sam looked at Brian with the moonlight in her face.

"Have you used it yet?"

"Used what?" Brian asked and looked at Sam

"You know, the void power, the reason we came for you"

"Oh, uhm, no not yet" Brian looked down in the blowing grass, playing with his fingers.

Sam stood up, facing Brian. "Use it on me then"

"w-what? how? I don't know what to do" 

Brain looked at Sam, she was serious, Brian gazed up upon the stars, took a deep breathe and jumped off the log.

Turned to Sam "So, any ideas how to do this?" 

"well, you are suppose to be able to draw out peoples inner weapon out of their bodies somehow. And the weapons can be really powerful in some people" 

"Really?" Brian was amazed to heard that he can draw out some amazing weapons.

"However, there is a limit in how long you can carry other peoples inner weapons.

"Okey, and how long is that?"

"I don't know, but I do know that if you hold on to it to long, that person will die, Because.  What you draw out, is that persons heart"

The wind blew through the forest taking a few leaves with it. 

"draw it out" Sam took a step towards Brian. Brian got nervous, looked away from Sam, shes getting closer.

"Do it!" She was serious, but Briand didn't know what to do. Brian stepped back a bit. 

"What are you afraid of!" She raised her voice. "You are a soldier now Brian! You need to defend yourself! 

Sam drew out her sword from her back, holding it in her left hand, pointing it at Brian. 

"Don't make me kill you" 

Brian was shocked, she first save him, now, she is going to kill him if he don't do anything.

 

Sam pulled back the recevier and the shell jumped out on the floor.

"Why did you shot him?" Brian said with a serious face.

Sam chuckled and stood up, didn't say anything and walked pass Brian, around the corner.

Brian turned around, speechless, looking at Sam while she tries to open the door.

he walked slowly at the door and looked back at the mess they made.

Blood was everywhere, the floor the walls. Some of the guards where twitching in their legs a little.

The man at the wall was still bleeding from his half blowned head. 

Brian got sick and almost through up just by looking at him. 

Sam manage to open the door. A cold wind blew through and hit Brian.

He coudn't remember the last time he felt the air. Brian closed his eyes and crossed his arms.

It was dark, to dark to see anything but the sky. 

"Come on, we have to get to the rendezvous point." She waved with her hand at Brian.

Brian picked up the paste and walked behind Sam. 

He looked up at the night sky. Stars litted up the forest ahead of them and the moon created beatiful shadows and lighted up the world. Brian look around, only sees trees. It look like the entire building is building is sorrouinding by trees, in the middle of nowhere. 

Sam walked in by some trees, Brian followed her deeper in the forest. They didn't speak anything. 

After a few minutes later they arrived at the rendezvous point.

"Where here, looks like we are here earlier then expected".

Sam sat down on a big old oak that have fallen. 

Brian looked at her when the moonlight litted up her body.

She looked so beatiful and peacefull. 

Sam didn't know what to say or to do, he sat down a bit away from Sam at the log.

Awkward silence fell over them and the wind blew through the forest.

Sam quickly turned against the men, with her rifle pointing at one of the guards head.

Making a big hole trhough the head, the bullet echoed loud over the small and narrow hallway.

Blood splashed everywhere, The four remaining guards look choked for a second.

"What the fuck!" One of them yelled at Sam and pointing at her.

Three of the guards drew their weapons and started shooting at her.

She quickly tumbled back behind the wall, reloading with a new bullet in the slide.

She put the rifle at the edge of the wall, making a chance-choot for the four guards.

"AAH! Fuck my arm!" They heard a thud. Sam looked at Brian smiling.

"Lucky shoot" She reloaded again.

Brian found something strange about Sam, she wasn't normal. Her expression that she make whenever she is in combat scared Brian. Hopefully  she won't go berserk and kill me. 

They hear footsteps coming towards them from the long coridor.

"Stay here!" Sam yelled and run towards the door which they cam from.

"What?!" Brian panicked "Where the fuck are you going?!" 

"Try to hold them off!" Sam yelled back.

Four against one isn't good chances. 

Brian took big breaths, preparing the sword for an attack.

The footsteps came closer and closer.

Brian felt the cold sweat running down his chinn.

He swung his sword blindly in the air.

"Gaaah!" Brian manage to hit one of the three men in the shoulder, he fell down, bleeding all over the floor.

The sword is still in his shoulder, Brian pull it out, blood splattered on the ground, dripping from the blade, making a puddle at his feet.

"Move!!" 

Brian pushed himself at the wall and a big echo heard again.It was Sam who shoot a guard in the chest, making him fall down on the ground, hard. 

She needed to make space between her and the guards so she could make a clear shoot.

The third guard looked at Brian and Sam with fear in his eyes. He held his gun in his left hand but dropped it.

The man started to cry, falling to his knees infront of Brian.

"Please, show mercy"

His head exploded by a bullet, making a big bloddy mess over the wall.

Brian looked back at Sam.

My cheast has been lifted after been talking with my parents.

my future has not yet been written and I don't know how it will be.

I don't know what I will work with either.

I don't know if I will continue my studies either.

It feels like I now nothing right now.

But I guess it will come eventually.
